The KleenWater KWE-Series is designed for value-conscious customers who are using existing permanent heads but would like a low-cost alternative cartridge option with exceptional performance. The KleenWater KWE-5M-KDF-P-4c filter is rated for an impressive 10,000-gallon capacity at a 1.67-gallon-per-minute flow rate. The cartridge design allows for quick and easy replacement, and this process bonds small filtration media to a large carbon support structure.

Activated carbon is highly effective for taste/odor, chlorine, and VOC filtration, while the poly phosphate ingredient protects household appliances from scale formation. KDF media removes heavy metals, including lead, via the process of oxidation/reduction. This design provides dirt sediment filtration, taste odor chlorine adsorption, lead reduction, and scale inhibition.

The filter's performance capabilities include 5-micron filtration, greater than 95% chlorine reduction for 10,000 gallons at 1.67 GPM, KDF media infusion, and polyphosphate scale inhibition. The filter's specifications include dimensions of 3.5 inches by 13 inches, a temperature range of 35 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. The filter is NSF/ANSI certified to Standard 42.

The KleenWater filter is compatible with Everpure's EV9601-00, EV9617-11, EV9617-22, and EV9617-36 models, as well as the Everpure H-200, S-200, and H-300 filters. It is also compatible with Everpure's QL1, QL2, QL3, QL3B, and QC4 filter heads.
